Groppi Food Market News: Featuring Meat Manager Bill Kreitmeir
Bill loves the “corner store” concept where he can meet the customers personally and learn their individual tastes. With the new Meat Department expansion, he plans on expanding everything and adding a few new items such as Veal and Lamb cuts, which have never been offered before at Groppi’s.

We are expanding our floor space by 1,800 square feet – increasing the size of our Meat, Produce, Frozen, Dairy and Beer, Wine and Liquor Departments. This will provide a wider selection of all of these items and, most importantly, allow us to better serve all of you, our loyal customers! We’re eager to finish this project and hope that construction will be complete by mid October or early November.
Our patio will also enjoy the benefits of this improvement with a new stucco-like façade. Be sure to stop in at our Friday cookouts and wine tastings. These have become regular local social events and a great way to meet your Bay View neighbors.
